Well, it's that time again - time to reflect on the previous month's earnings and set new goals for the month ahead. November wasn't my greatest month as far as upfront pay is concerned, but I did have a pretty good month in residuals. My earnings weren't as high as expected, but they were higher than any of the previous months. Here's a break down of my residual income earnings for November:Ehow earnings for November were only a slight disappointment. The first three weeks of the month were fantastic. I was making $10 to $13 dollars per day. The last week of the month, however, I saw a drastic decline in earnings. I'm pretty sure it's due to the holidays, but it was still disappointing.
This is my first year with eHow, so I've yet to distinguish any real year-to-year patterns. Now I know that Thanksgiving week is no good for earnings. I ended the month at $277.04. That's still higher than last month, but I really wanted to make it to $300. I suppose I'll make that my goal for next month. :)
Suite101 and Bukisa Earnings
I really don't know why I'm not more motivated to write for Suite 101, especially with all the buzz about the thousands per month some writers are earning. I suppose it's because the articles take more time to write and research than I typically have available. I did manage to add a couple new articles, but my earnings for the month were down - only $25.77. I have a grand total of 31 articles there, and I usually make over $30 per month. I guess Thanksgiving is to blame again. :)

I'm still including Bukisa in my residual income updates, simply because I still earn money there. Not much, mind you, but every little bit helps. I added a few new articles to the site for back links to some of my eHow articles, but I'm not expecting too much income from them. We'll see how it goes this month. My November payment was $24.35, so that's not too bad for the tiny amount of work I did there.
Adsense Earnings
Well, I made payout again with Adsense - $147 and some change. I'm quite happy with that, as I've just started a new niche blog that barely made enough to cover the cost of my hosting. I have high hopes for the months to come, however, as I'm getting pretty steady traffic. I'm planning on experimenting with another niche blog this month, trying out a very different tactic. I'll then compare the two over the coming months to see which one works better.
Most of my Adsense earnings came from this blog, Xomba, Infobarrel and HubPages. I added several new articles to each of these sites in November, so I'm hoping this will contribute to my earnings this month. Only time will tell, but as for now, I'm happy with the way things are going.
My Total Residual Income for November
I had a pretty good month overall, but I'd defintely like to increase earnings even more in December. With the holidays coming up, I'm not so sure how realistic this is, but I'll continue to try. Here's a summary of my earnings for the month:
Ehow - $277.04
Bukisa - $24.35
Suite101 - $27.55
Adsense - $147.00
Total - $475.94
It's my best month ever! Now, if I can just stay motivated enough to keep it increasing in December....
How was your month? Did you have any record-breaking earnings or did you experience a slow down at the end of the month like I did? I'd love to hear from you!

Hi Willow,
Looks like you are doing well with your residual income. Glad to see your eHow earnings continue to grow each month. My eHow earnings this month were up by 43% over last month, so I was really happy.
I know what you mean about Suite101. I have 30 articles there an barely make payout. Since I put so much work into those articles, I am disappointed in the earnings. I guess it is all in the subject matter.
Love the blog's new look!

My eHow earnings were depressing and a little de-motivating - down 25% from the previous month! I only added 4 new articles so I wasn't expecting a significant increase, but I also didn't expect it to drop off so much. Ah well, as you note, every little bit really does help.
Nice job!
Hi Willow.
The only on-line site I post to is Suite101, and I'm the one who keeps the averages down. In November I had my best month despite the Thanksgiving slowdown. At month's end I had 66 articles published and earned $10.24 (don't laugh, please). This is the first month to earn payout on the month's earnings alone.
DAT
The Holiday season will normally cause a decline in earnings but you still pulled off your highest month. Good job. Nice blog by the way. I enjoy seeing people post up their residual income progress. Keep up the great work.
November 2009 was actually my best month ever for online residual income. I found that eHow earnings were going back up and affiliate commissions through Amazon.com and cj.com got a boost because of the holidays.
