Earn Upfront Pay and Residual Income at LifeTips!

LifeTips is a website that I've mentioned briefly before, but they have grown tremendously since then, and I've decided to post a more in-depth look at this unique site. They offer both residual income and upfront pay, including selling your very own books from which you'll be paid royalties. Here's how it works.....

Application

To make money with LifeTips, you'll need to apply for a position as Guru in a chosen topic. You can choose from a list of topics (niches), or create your own if you like. The application process includes submitting three tips that are relevant to your topic, and submitting any relevant education and/or experience you may have. Here's an excerpt from the website detailing what type of applicants they're looking for:

"Published writers with proven experience in publishing, magazines and online media outlets in their area of expertise will likely be approved. Applicants who attend trade shows or conferences or teach in a related topic will likely be approved. Applicants with professional experience and educational credentials will likely be approved. And Gurus who understand Search Engine Marketing and have the SEO skill and proficiency to grow traffic on a Tip Site will be approved instantly."

Earnings

What's most unique about LifeTips is the variety of ways to earn money. First, you'll earn comission on the ads that run on your Guru Tip Page. You'll also have a book published for you containing 101 of your best tips, chosen by you. Your book has its own ISBN number and will be available for purchase worldwide. This service is completely free of charge, and you'll earn $2.00 for every book sold in bookstores or online. How cool is that? And you don't have to do anything but publish tips. They take care of everything else for you!

If your tips attract the attention of a program sponsor, you will be considered for a freelance position that pays $10 per tip! If a sponsor is interested in you, they will display their own ads on your site, and you will be paid upfront for each tip you submit. But, even if you don't have a sponsor right away, you will still be earning residual income from ads and commission from book sales. According to the website:

Payments

I am not affiliated with LifeTips, so my information on the site is limited. I know that the payment is once per month, but I do not know what payment options are available. If anyone has experience with this site, please leave a comment and let us know how this works!

Rights, Terms and Conditions

All work that you submit to LifeTips becomes their sole property. You do not own your tips anymore once they have been accepted to the site, and these include the tips that are published in your book. You will continue to earn royalty from your tips for life, but you cannot publish them anywhere else. You can view the LifeTips terms and conditions for more information.
