Well, it's been a while since I've added any upfront pay freelance writer jobs, so I thought now would be a good time. This is a great opportunity with higher pay than most content sites - $12 per 500 word article, and $5.00 per 300 word article. It appears that you'll be hired to write either one or the other. They aren't always hiring, but when they are - you could land yourself a nice, steady income.
Another great benefit of this site - they pay within 24 hours of approving articles. The turn around time is low - they give you around 36 hours to get an assignment done. If you can live up to this commitment, Writer's Work Station may be the place for you.
THEY ARE LEGIT! I applied here a few months ago, but they didn't need any additional writers. They were quick to communicate and very professional. I'd reapply but I've got too much on my plate with residual income and other content sites. I highly recommend applying if you're looking for a supplemental content writing gig.
Here's the catch. The company is new and growing, so they only need writers off and on, and the income will not be full time right away. However, if you could get in now, you would be experienced and ready to take on that high paying workload when it comes. Here's an excerpt from the website:
We are looking to supply you with steady work, but at the moment we have yet to open our doors to the public. Right now we need writers available to handle incoming assignments, which may be sporadic.
Eventually, we would like to assign our writers a set number of articles each day. We would require each writer to commit to one or more days of the week (meaning if you signed up to work Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays you will always receive your assignments on these days and be expected to turn them in within 36 hours).
In the future, 500 word article writers can expect to be assigned 8 articles for each day they commit to work (which for most writers means $96 for 4-8 hours work). 300 word article writers can expect to be assigned 16 articles a day (which for most writers equals $80 for 3-7 hours of work)
